Hello! Tell us about yourself, how did you become a model? How did it all start?
Salute! My name is Nastya, I am 20 years old and I am from Minsk. Until the age of 14, I didn’t even think about the career of a model, because my height was only 164 cm. But in one summer I grew sharply by as much as 10 cm, after which, my mother had the idea to send me to a model school. Neither I nor she had any particularly serious intentions regarding working as a model. They decided that I would go there just like that, for myself, as they say. At that time I was about 16 years old. Classes lasted about a year, by which time I was stretched to 179 cm. After graduating from high school, I was taken to the agency’s main staff. Unfortunately, 2 work trips had to be canceled, since I entered the institute, and they did not let me go from work to study abroad. The work of the model had to be postponed.
Today I have signed a contract with the new parent agency FL model management Paris. I got into this wonderful agency, thanks to Vika Falileeva, the famous model and wife of the director of my agency, who wrote me VKontakte with a request to show my snaps. I sent them to agent Frederick Leonard, they liked them, and they took me. True, it was necessary to lose weight, and very decently. But is it really a problem when there is tremendous motivation and support from the agency? Of course not!

How has a career as a model influenced your life?
First of all, it was the work of the model that gave me the opportunity for the first time in my life to fly a plane and see with my own eyes the city of dreams – Paris! Therefore, here, right away, the main advantage can be distinguished trips that are directly related to modeling. Also, the advantages for me include constant acquaintances with new people, often foreigners, so you will know English well, the ability to work with a variety of famous designers, photographers. When you realize that you had a chance to become a part of the fashion world, at first, you simply cannot believe it! For this is a separate world, and not every girl who wants it has such a chance to become a model, because the requirements for external data are very high, especially when it comes to growth.
The disadvantages of this profession, I would attribute the almost impossibility of combining it with full-time study at the university and constant monitoring in terms of body shape and skin condition. Some are lucky by nature, and they do not need to monitor nutrition day after day in order to stay in shape. Some do not. Guess which group I belong to? True, to the second.
What do you like most about modeling, and what qualities, in your opinion, should a real model have?
As I said, traveling is what attracts me the most. And if you touch on the topic of qualities, then, probably, first of all for me it will be purposefulness. Then punctuality, sociability and politeness.
What is your most memorable shot?
Each shooting and work will remain in my memory, but, perhaps, it was the very first tests that finally strengthened my desire to become a model. To be honest, I did not know how to move. It stood like Pinocchio. The photographer came to the rescue, she quickly taught me the correct movements and not be afraid of the camera. Fear disappeared, and everything went like clockwork!
Do you have any podium experience?
So far, I have participated in fashion weeks in Minsk and Moscow, and most of all I remember the show of Dmitry Sholokhov, the winner of the Podium Project in New York, hosted by Heidi Klum. Impressions indescribable! The fear of the beginning, which immediately disappears, is only to take the first steps to the rhythmic music on the podium. Everyone is looking only at you, an unforgettable experience!
What is your favorite clothing designer? Which style do you prefer?
I can’t single out one designer, because everyone has things that I really like. So I’ll just say that I prefer casual style in clothes: jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, sneakers, rough boots, leather jackets are my favorites.
