FEY LANGELAAN

Another model from Holland that came to the center of our attention is Fey Langelaan from Amsterdam. The girl recently began her career as a professional model, but she has known modeling for a long time. While still at school, she worked as part of a small modeling agency, which was for the most part a hobby than a serious occupation. Only after graduation, Fairy took fate into her own hands and sent her snaps to one of Amsterdam’s most respected agencies – Paparazzi Model. About how her life changed after that, read further in the model interview!

Model Parameters:

Height: 177 cm;
Chest-Waist-Hips: 82-60-91 cm;
Eye color: blue;
Hair color: dark blond;
Consists of agencies: Paparazzi (Amsterdam / mother), Ace (Athens), Option (Istanbul), Seeds (Berlin).

Tell us about your career as a model. How did you get started?

When I was still in school, from time to time I worked at an agency located in my hometown. But I worked there until I graduated from high school, after which I took up modeling more seriously. I sent an email to the Paparazzi Model in Amsterdam and they invited me to visit their office. Soon I got my first contract!

What thoughts arise in your head when you pose in front of the camera?

I try to focus on work, interaction with the team, and this happens not only when I am in front of the camera, but also throughout the entire shooting day. Sometimes it is necessary to combine many aspects at once, which is not easy, but this makes the work even more interesting!

What do you like / dislike about being a model?

My favorite part of modeling is the creative component, and, of course, travel. Modeling is very unpredictable, and I like it – I do not like monotony and consistency. But it also causes some inconvenience, for example, it becomes difficult to plan something together with friends or family, but … if you go with the flow, it turns into just another adventure!

Do you have any idols among the models?

Of course, I follow the events taking place in the fashion world and like to watch new photo shoots appearing in glossy magazines every day. There are so many beautiful and extraordinary models … and I don’t have an idol in one person, simply because I like variety, so there are too many of them, haha.

How would you define your style?

I would characterize him as casual chic. I’m not sure that such a style exists, but these two words precisely define it. Usually, you can meet me on the street in jeans, sneakers, a long loose T-shirt, with a large bag in hand, and braided hair.

5 items of clothing that are the heroes of your wardrobe?

An old leather jacket (which was still worn by my mother);
Jeans (both classic and slim fit);
Ray Ban Sunglasses;
Classic black dress;
Bag Marc Johnson.
Could you give us some of your best body and skin care tips?

Moisturize the skin, drink more water and remain calm in any situation :). Do what makes you feel good!

Which city is your favorite and why?

Amsterdam. It is very easy and always possible to find places in it that I have never been to before. I also like in Spain, of which I have the fondest memories from my last trip to Barcelona and Madrid!

What, in your opinion, is the key to success for a model? What qualities do you need to have in order to succeed in this profession?

I think that a very important role in building a successful career for a model is played by self-confidence, punctuality and good spirits when faced with difficulties. Of course, good looks, sociability and respect for the interlocutor will also add points to you! These are some of the most important things that, in fact, are the key to success in any profession …

What are your plans for the near future?

At the moment, I am trying to build my career and find my way in life. My agency knows exactly what is needed for this, so I’m sure that they will find worthy customers for me in the fashion market! There are so many possibilities in this work that coincide with my interests. Therefore, I am so excited in anticipation of what other changes in my life will happen in the coming months or years.
